@vengefulpickle I think I need to go on hiatus for both weekly series indefinitely. Stuff is coming up IRL that makes it hard to know when I’ll be able to play a match, and while I’m hoping it won’t last too long, I have no way of knowing for sure until it’s over.

Re-match time!
Menelker did mene things, landing some good hits and BCs
Close game with many back and forth. I was taken down to 7hp vs 24hp, but Ven was on low cards (4) and needed to spend an Acro to avoid my bQ. Next turn A+, down to 2hp and chip fast J dmg for KO
Even closer game, down to the wire! At 19hp (mene) vs 20hp, he dodged my bQ into AA (down to magic pixel) but wtih only 1 card left in hand (a J from the replay). He wasn’t lucky, drawing another J, that hit my A+.

Joker oblivioned and DSD landed (no 8s on Ven side, too)
Close game. We traded some 2s vs bKs (but this is a little fav my side 
) , then we went down balanced till around 20hp each. Here I managed to oblivion his Joker, then bQs and As made it
Powered menelker here: I think I drew something like 10 face cards early game!
Rook was quite solid but Mene’s fury prevailed

Threw his blocks and poked out (most of) his Ks. Fish is unafraid of large bull.
Wow, I get tossed and batted around literally all game. Fish is terrified.
Fish runs away. There’s nothing goold ol’ Setsuki can’t fix… Right…? Wait no, still dead.
Okay, so I decided to stop attacking every time I get KD’d and I guess that worked.
And the final showdown goes down to Troq at 1 and Sets at 6 after my attempt at a chip out checkmate ran into a dodge, and then I get the lucky end of the final mixup to close it out.

I’m pretty sure the guy, who played better, has won, which I always approve of. Good games, but I really need to practice more, which this match showed so clearly. Boy, was I overexcited too, can’t help but feel like I’m on TV or something)

Journeyboy 3 - flagrantangles 2
First off, flagrantangles makes it a joy to play the game. Even when my gwen’s ass was getting kicked his humor made it hurt less. First two matches I lost so bad I thought, ‘welp this will be a quick 0-3’. I was able to get some decent damage off in the second game and was making a comeback but was not able to win enough combats. He just put me in the spin cycle for like 20 min. Then I pulled out Degrey, and it was basically just a hilarious speech match. “I have positive spin!” “Yea well you cant attack now!” “Yea well you cant attack either!”. My Spirits of Justice(K) were able to disarm a few of his aces and were really safe pokes when I was heavily throwing out A’s dodges. The mind games on both sides were unending.

Oh whoops, I forgot that I probably won’t be able to play for the next couple weeks since I’ll be in Japan! @vengefulpickle the first day I would want to play a match is June 18th (when I get back) so if you could add me for then rather than now I would appreciate it.

Journeyboy 3 - NoBodysHero 2
Fun set of games. Gwen out sped Ven first two matches, and I was able to get some really hard hitting combos off. The second game was down to the wire; we both had 2 health left and he had three cards, so that was my last turn either way. I forgot the winning combat, but I think I won with an raw A. Then he brought out Onimaru. Gwen and Onimaru duked it out with some hard hitting combos and he ended up doing just a bit more. I switched to Degrey; and I want to kick myself for the loss. I would say I had the advantage game 4 but then I STUPIDLY went for a gold rush; and I told myself not to do it but thought yolo. He dodged it and retaliated with a clockwork empowered K+K, gg. In game 4 I realized that he had downloaded my tendencies for the most part, so game 5 I played counter to that and won.
